About the Council
In 2021 Advantis formed its first employee-driven DEI Council. Its purpose is to foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture that attracts the best talent, values diversity of life experiences and perspectives, and provides a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and members.
Council members serve as champions and advocates for DEI at Advantis and within our community. Examples of how we further DEI-related initiatives include:
- Creating and sharing dedicated DEI educational resources
- Acknowledging holidays dedicated to diverse communities throughout the year
- Using DEI survey results to identify opportunities for influence and assistance
- Communicating DEI-related perspectives and guidance with Advantis leadership
- Developing DEI learning opportunities for all employees
- Providing guidance for the formation of Advantis Belonging Communities (also known as Employee Resource Groups)
- Identifying grant prospects and volunteer opportunities with DEI-related nonprofits
