The Belmont branch of Advantis Credit Union is located in Southeast Portland, OR and easily accessible from the Belmont, Hawthorne, Division, and Laurelhurst neighborhoods. We offer free parking in the Advantis Credit Union lot as well as a 24-hour ATM, and we are open on Saturdays for your convenience.

I originally posted a scathing review of Advantis, based on an experience I had where I discovered, after paying my automobile loan for one year, that I had been paying monthly late fees, despite the fact I set up the loan for automatic payment and accidentally set the payment date for a week after The due date. I was never notified that I was paying the loan late.
When I sought resolution, I was told by two customer service agents, one on the phone and one in person at the Gresham branch, that I was only gonna get refunded three months of late fees.
After posting my scathing review on yelp, I got a call from a customer service manager, who gave me Grace for the years worth of late fees.

Mar 19, 2024Previous reviewRegarding shaking down its customers for late fees, Advantis isn't much different than a bank like Wells Fargo.
Advantis notified me two weeks ago that I had been making my used car loan late for the past 12 months.
Upon researching it, I had unintentionally set up the automatic payment to be one week late every month.
Advantis never notified me that the payments were late, and accumulated $180 in late fees on me.
I spoke to a customer service agent over the phone 2 weeks ago, and just met with a customer service manager in the Gresham branch, and they both told me they could only forgive three months of late fees.
Thanks for nothing, member owned Advantis. Y'all aren't much different than Wells Fargo.
P.s. I moved my money from a federal savings bank to this credit union along with 30 of my friends, in response to the banking crisis in 2008. I'll be sure to pass this negative review along to those friends. - Amy S.San Francisco, CA02May 15, 2024
Horrible, judgy people work there. All technology is subpar and takes forever for a check to clear or institution to institution funding. Only plus is for rates.

Have been doing business with Advantis for years and continue to be impressed with the service, support and product offerings.

I started at the Portland Employees Credit Union in 1977, have lived through the PACE and Advantis years, and have benefited from each change the Credit Union has made. I am looking forward to the next growth spurt of the CU. I was on the Board for 20 years and hope the new River Mark will retain the "One of the oldest financial institutions in Oregon" title of Advantis.

I secured a vehicle loan with this bank, they had the best rate at 2.84%.
That's how it began. I decided I'd open an account here since I live in Portland, and the bank I love and have used for almost 20 years has no branch In Oregon.
I walked into the door and was greeted right away. It was an absolutely positive experience all the way through.
They offer things like cash back checking, yay! They do have parking in the back at this location.

Advantis refit Union is by far the best credit Union in Oregon. They are welcoming, friendly, hardworking, most helpful people I have ever seen. I am blind so thing are a little harder for me than for most people, but they go out of the way to make sure I get what I need the way I need it. They also make sure I am comfortable with everything and understand everything before concluding our business. McKyla was so excited to help us and she was very sweet. We appreciate you very much.

I've been a member at Advantis for quite a few years now and it's always been a pleasure dealing with the employees via phone or at a branch any time I've needed help or had questions. I recently had to go into the gresham branch to get a new debit card and the process was quick & easy and I was out the door within 10 minutes. Today I called & spoke to Jennifer ( not sure if she's at a branch or is at the call center ) but she was upbeat, positive & you can just tell she is smiling behind the phone. She provided great service, answered my questions and stayed on the phone to make sure I got the form I needed in my email and waited for me to get it signed so everything could get processed. I told her people are quick to leave negative reviews so I wanted to make it a point to share some praise to Jennifer & the Gresham branch and the rest of the Advantis team. Great customer service does not go unnoticed!
